Psychometric Assessment



John’s first experience of using psychometric tests was with Michelin Tyre Company in 1967 when he spent 3 years as a member of the Human Resource teams delivering psychometric testing and Assessment Centres in the UK and Northern Ireland.

His knowledge and understanding of the uses of psychometric instruments for assessment, selection, and coaching, personal and organisational development has grown substantially over the years, and he now has the British Psychological Society Certificates of Competence in Psychological Testing “A” & “B”.

John has substantial knowledge and experience of assessment design and implementation, plus the ability to work seamlessly along side other HR professionals and psychologists in their delivery.

John has used psychometrics at all levels within organisations from initial selection to top team development.

The companies within which he has delivered assessment and psychometric services include, Smiths Food Group, London Borough of Southwark, Metropolitan Police Service, Ford Motor Company, National Grid, British Telecom and HM Armed Forces.

John is also a founder member of the British Association for Psychological Type and President of the Southern Chapter ~ Association of Career Professionals International.
